 XLRotor is excellent rotordynamic analysis software, and so are Brian and Dan’s knowledge of rotordynamics. I have used XLRotor exclusively for the past 15 years to develop clean sheet rotordynamic designs of machinery for gas/power and aerospace applications, including integral-gear compressors, dual-shaft turbines, liquid-filled permanent magnet motors, multi-phase pumps, etc. A first-time pass rate of 100% in vibration factory acceptance tests is the evidence I can attest to! XLRotor is also easier to setup and runs analysis faster compared to other software I have used.
